Music Video In The Making

This is the ending images, it shows you that i have added an'additive dissolve' onto the image, therefore the next image replaces it, but you can see the change, it is just sudden.
I like this effect because it shows more impact to the music video compared to if the images relaced each other without any video transitions.

The image below represents how i have splitted the screen, and added more that one image to the video. When the audience look at the video they will see a split screen, this will keep them interested and not to have to keep looking at the same image on screen as this can be boring.

Also on the image above it shows how you would split a screen too.
You would open up more video strips along the side and copy and paste the clips on top of one another but in the different video strips as shown.

The image above represents a tool that i have used throughout called 'Rough Edges' i have played around with this tool alot and varied the borders thickness for more impact and overall feel to my music video.

The image ABOVE IMAGE represents me using after effects using text. Along with having the rough edges, i do think that this looks like a good choice.

If you click on the image above it shows you the effects that i have used. I wanted this to look old in a sepia style and i really like the over all look. I had to mess around with the settings a lot to get it how i wanted it.

Again here i have used rough edges to give a better impact.
Also having shot it in a different place, the bathroom is another way to take the eye away from one certain image.

Here i have split the screen up, added the lip miming the words along with the singer miming the same words, this is a good look and when looking through the whole video with this effect it looks really well done.

This image above has been put over two videos. They are slightly out of time, so that when the video plays they intersect each other and it sets a sense of lagging. I like the colour effects on here too, the sepia looks like it suits the image. Also i have added 'noise alpha' to give another texture to the piece.

The image of the girl singing represents the amount of hue, saturation and contrast on this image. I have also added a sepia look throughout the singer parts. I really think that the image looks much better with all the effects on it, rather than leaving it to its normal image.

The image above is one of the first images that you see in the music video. I like the way this has been shot, with the bench in the corner and the lighting works brilliantly.

This is my overall timeline you can see the amount of cuts i have done throughout. This was so my video was exactly how i wanted it, with the flashings of different shots.
Also shows where i have cut the song up so that it fits in with my clips.
